Diet? What diet?

I have totally been eating crap for the past few days. I don't know what's wrong with me. My hubby's out of town so I think I don't have to cook for the kids, and I've let my own eating slack off.

I'm sitting around reading the vampire book all day, and when I get hungry I just wander into the kitchen and eat something. Pizza, cake, whatever I see first.

If you need to munch while reading, try carrots or some roasted peas. YUM.

I also want to share something that's been helping me w/ the eating thing. Starting this week I've been thinking really carefully before I eat anything and visualizing what the food does to my body--not like the fat, but what it does to my arteries, etc.

I guess the older I get (I'm a couple years older than you) the more aware I'm becoming of everything I eat and its repercussions on my health.

Anyway, this sort of visualizing has really helped--so far this week I've lost 4-5 lbs.!
